There are so many great points in this article. I have consciously started muting/ unfollowing any author that writes about "how I made X last month" and yet the algorithm keeps on recommending me that garbage.

And I totally agree with your point about read ratio. I have articles that got 56% read rate and they are stuck at 24 views from months ago. This would never happen on Youtube! Youtube would keep on showing the video until people stopped being interested.
